Federation imposed a record-fee for disorders after Polish Cup final

KH Sanok received a 20.000 dollars fee - the highest in the history of Polish hockey - for the confusion caused by fans after the final of Polish Cup, lost at home against Cracovia Krakow last December 29. After the decisive goal by Petr Dvorak, one second before the end of overtime, fans threw plastic bottles, water bottles and cups on ice. One of the bottles hit the referee Maciej Pachucki in the head. A firecracker was thrown towards referees, which caused minor injuries to one of them.

"This is a misunderstanding. We received  a lot of compliments - even by deputies from Ice Hockey Federation - for the great organization. Now I wonder why we get such a kick?"  said Maciej Bilański, vice president of KH Sanok.

"The crowd and the organization of the event was fantastic"  in fact said right after the award ceremony Cracovia coach Rudolf Rohaczek
