IIHF announced the participants, groups and hosts of the 2014/2015 European Women’s Champions Cup.

 
 
 
 

The first round of the European Women’s Champions Cup will be played in October Turkey, Czech Republic, Latvia and Italy. The second round will take placeDecember 5-7 in Russia (Nizhni Novgorod) and Sweden (Linköping).

The host of the Final Tournament is not yet decided, but the dates are February 20-22.

First Round, 17-19 October 2014

Group A: Aisulu Almaty (KAZ), HK Poprad (SVK), HSC Csikszereda (ROU), Milenyum Ankara (TUR, host).
Group B: Sabres Vienna (AUT), SK Karvina (CZE, host), Bracknell Queen Bees (GBR), Unia Oswiecim (POL).
Group C: Herlev Hornets (DEN), Jordal Oslo (NOR), Laima Riga (LAT, host), SADH Majadahonda (ESP).
Group D: HC Neuilly sur Marne (FRA), Bolzano Eagles (ITA, host), Marilyn Budapest (HUN), Gric Zagreb (CRO).

Second Round, 5-7 December 2014

Group E: SKIF Nizhni Novgorod (RUS, host), ESC Planegg (GER), Winner Group A, Winner Group D.
Group F: Linkopings HC (SWE, host), Espoo Blues (FIN), Winner Group B, Winner Group C.

Final Tournament, 20-22 February 2015

The top-two ranked team of each second-round group (E/F) will advance to the final round. Host TBD.
