Poland continued after yesterday's 8-1 win over Netherlands with another clear victory: 7-3 against Ukraine. Damian Kapica scored five of the Polish goals. The 26-years-old forward of Cracovia also had two assists yesterday and leads the tournament in scoring.

Romania and Japan had both won on day one so today's winner would really threaten Poland in the battle for promotion. Japan started best and scored twice in the opening period. Yushi Nakayashiki and Kohei Sato both scored their first goal of the tournament. In the second period Tamas Reszegh and Gergo Biro got goals for Romania to tie the game before the last period. Alpar Sallo scored the winner for Romania a little more than three minutes befor the final whistle. Japan failed to score on three powerplay attempts in the last period.

The host Estonia recovered after yesterday's shootout loss to Romania and beat Netherlands 4-1. Aleksei Sibirtsev, Christoffer Usov, Jaanus Sorokin and Robert Rooba scored the goals.

Tomorrow is a day off and on Wednesday there will be some key games. The loser of Netherlands-Ukraine will possibly eventually face relegation while the winner of Poland and Romania will be close to promotion. The winner of Japan and Estonia will still be in the race for the top position.
