Baltic League final four is postponed

The final of the Baltic Hockey League in Rezekne is moving indefinitely due to the infection of players with Covid-19.

The final stage of the Baltic Hockey League scheduled for this weekend in Rēzekne, Latvia, is postponed indefinitely until further announcements due to the fact that several players of the HK Mogo team have been infected with the Covid-19 virus.

On Sunday, HK Mogo played the Latvian championship match with the HK Liepaja, the other Latvian team involved in the competition, so the Liepaja club players will also be subjected to compulsory quarantine for at least five days.
Taking into account that Latvian clubs will not be able to properly participate in the tournament and want to protect the health of players and technical staff as much as possible, a decision was made to postpone the final four of the Baltic League. It is planned that the teams will gather in Rēzekne on February 11-14 next year, during the IIHF international match window.
