H K Gomel of Belarus will progress to the Superfinal after beating a weary looking Sheffield steelers 4-0.

 
 
 
 

The game was only seven minutes old when SUSLO found himself open at the side of the net to slot home the first goal. Gomel had most of the possession in this game and it was no surprise when they increased their lead through KARABANOV on the half hour and five minutes later SEREKIN increased the lead.

The Sheffield side had the better of the final period as they pushed for a goal that would help them qualify. To try and get this goal Barry brust was pulled from the net but REVENKO made the most of his clearance to win the game 4-0.
